Achievements:

  Academic and Sports Awards:

The boys can earn academic and sport  belt loops and pins on their own at any time.  Please go here: http://www.boyscouttrail.com/cub-scouts/acad-sports.asp to view the belt loop and pins available and the requirements your child needs to meet in order to earn them.    If your child is involved in baseball, soccer, swimming, etc. . . they most likely will have accomplished the achievements required for the belt loop and often the pin as well.

Please let me know at least two weeks before a pack meeting that your child has earned a belt loop and/or pin so our achievement coordinator will have plenty of time to purchase the award.

We will have a Special Achievement sign up sheet on the parent table at each den meeting where you can mark down your child's accomplishment so we can ensure he gets the recognition he deserves at the following pack meeting.

The boys earned a lot of belt loops and pins at summer camp, so kept that in mind for next year!  The BB and Archery belt loops and pins can only be earned at camp.

  Religious Emblem:

Selena mentioned at the pack meeting boys may work on their Religious Emblem.  For more information please check out: http://www.usscouts.org/advance/cubscout/religious.asp .
