Den 3 helped clear
trail paths at Platt Farm
September: Collection of Food for Southbury Food

November: Collected 472 bags of food during our Scouting for Food
program to donate to Southbury Food Pantry

Bear Den 1 collected items for the "stuff
a back pack program" run by family services for the needy children in
Southbury

at Blue & Gold
Services performed in 2008-2009:
Pack 61 held bake sales to raise nearly $900 for the
Great
American Bake Sale sponsored by Share Our Strength an organization
committed to ending childhood hunger in America.
All the scouts were asked to bring non-perishable food items to the Blue
and Gold Dinner. These items were collected by the Bears of Den 3 and
delivered to the Southbury Food Bank. They even got to help them stock
their shelves!
Scouting for Food. We donated over two thousand pounds of food
to the CT Food Bank.
At our November pack meeting the boys collected 200 pairs of gloves to
donate to St. Vincent De Paul
The pack made ornaments to donate to an elderly
home to help them celebrate the holidays.
Den 3 did a clean up hike around Lake Zoar.

Den 3
and Webelos II created wreaths to be auctioned by the Southbury Junior
Women's club. Proceeds will go to the Region

Perpetual Fund,
which provides financial support to families of seriously ill children in
the area.
Den 4 Sang for the Veterans and brought them
flowers on Veterans Day
Den 3 went caroling at Kensington Green for
the elderly
Den 1 make gingerbread
ornaments and performed carols at The Lutheran Home of Southbury
Den 4 gathered to help wrap more than 100 toys for
charity this season. The toys were donated by automobile dealer,
Mimi Dragone, Inc. of Bridgeport, CT. Thanks to the hard work of these
Scouts, Boys & Girls at the Hall Neighborhood
House in Bridgeport, CT had presents to open this Christmas!
Den 3 adopted a
Panda from the WWF
Den 1 visited the
Lutheran Home of Southbury for Valentine's Day
Services performed in 2006-2007:
The pack made a $5 per boy donation to Heifer International.
Collected food for local shelters
Donation to Bent of the River
Donation to VFW
Den 4 assisted in the removal of evasive plant life at Bent of the River
