Meeting Schedule:

Most meetings will be held at the VFW on Wed. evenings from 6 – 7pm.  There are a few achievements that are best accomplished (and more fun) as a field trip.  I’ve made a note of that on the schedule and the time may have to be adjusted to an after school meeting for those outings.  As we get closer to those dates I will let you know.

I’ve noted what we’re going to cover during the meetings

(we’ll be doing almost all the accomplishments during the meeting, you do not need to prepare anything at home)

Most meeting you are welcome to drop off your child, unless otherwise noted

There are two accomplishments to be done at home at your convenience

GOD (Do ONE of the following)

1. WAYS WE WORSHIP Complete both requirements.

Complete the Character Connection for Faith

§ Know. Name some people in history who have shown great faith. Discuss with an adult how faith has been important at a particular point in his or her life.

§ Commit. Discuss with an adult how having faith and hope will help you in your life, and also discuss some ways that you can strengthen your faith.

§ Practice. Practice your faith as you are taught in your home, church, synagogue, mosque, or religious fellowship.

b. Make a list of things you can do this week to practice your religion as you are taught in your home, church, synagogue, mosque, or other religious community. Check them off your list as you complete them.

EMBLEMS OF FAITH Complete the requirement. Earn the Religious Emblem of your faith.

And

FAMILY FUN Do both requirements. (These are easy – I bet most families will have this accomplished before summer is over)

a. Go on a day trip or evening out with members of your family.

b. Have a family fun night at home.
