Scouting for Food

On November 3rd Pack 61 distributed over 700 grocery bags to the homes of Southbury residents.  Each bag asked for a small food donation for the local shelter.  On November 10th the Scouts went out and retrieved the bags and were astounded by the response.  We received over 1600 food items (1,442 lbs)!  The Scouts spent their Saturday afternoon sorting and packing the supplies to prepare them for delivery to the CT Food bank on Monday morning.
