Our theme for camp this upcoming year will be Medieval Times. The cost for
the week long day camp this year is roughly $165 for the week. The camp will be
running the week of August 11th, 2008 (Monday - Friday). There is a
reimbursement if you sign up to help out at camp for the whole week of $70.
Please make sure that you clearly indicate on your child's registration form
that you are going to be going to camp with your child so we can have the
paperwork clearly marked for reimbursement.
There will also be a Webelo Mini Overnight option which is open to all this
year's Bear and Webelo ranks. The dates for the Webelo overnight camp is August
13 - 15th (Wednesday - Friday). I do not know yet the fees involved for the
Overnight. I am not sure of the fees or if there will be any type of
reimbursement involved as of yet. As soon as I get this information, I will
forward it on.
Any Cub Scouts who will be crossing over to Boy Scouts and are interested in
helping me run Camp, please let me know so I may get in touch with them
directly. The time spent working at camp gives them credit for Service hours
that they will need to have for their own rank advancement. I also need older
scouts as well. If you know of any, can you please pass this message along.
